A dream that brought Turkish hospitality to Bucharest.
Between two cultures.
“Some say that, if my accent did not give me away, you would swear I was Romanian. Yet I come from Turkey, and Romania is where I live and work.
I travelled between the two countries thousands of times, meeting new friends along the way. Perhaps that is how my wish to open a restaurant began. I dreamed of introducing my friends in Romania to the rich culinary traditions of the East, while offering people arriving from Turkey a place where they could feel at home. (…)
One dream, shared.
(…) I shared this plan with my friends and with my brother Eyup, who joined me and supported me wholeheartedly, day after day. We imagined the menu and the interior of our restaurant, thinking about every detail with tireless enthusiasm.
Our wish was so strong that in 2017 it took shape, with the help of Contur Design, the company that helped bring our project to life. (…)
